Scope.
These Terms and Conditions govern access to and use of www.starridelimo.com and reservations made with Star Ride Group Corporation (“Star Ride,” “we,” “us” or “our”). By using the site or confirming a reservation, you agree to these terms and applicable law.
An inquiry or draft itinerary is not a confirmed reservation. A reservation is confirmed only when the desk issues written confirmation and any required verification, deposit or payment step is complete. A person booking for someone else confirms that they are authorized to do so.
Reservations and rates.
The amount shown in a reservation confirmation is a good-faith estimate based on the information supplied. Actual usage — including waiting time, additional stops or services, tolls and parking — may change the final charge.
The commercial terms of each journey — rates, minimums, billing method, included services and any additional charges — are set out in the written reservation confirmation issued by the desk and are disclosed before confirmation. Where the confirmation and these terms differ, the confirmation prevails.
High-demand dates and special events may carry different rates, minimums, deposits or cancellation terms. Those terms will be disclosed before confirmation.
Changes and cancellation.
Changes and cancellations must be made directly with the desk and are effective only once acknowledged. The applicable notice periods and any change or late-cancellation charges are stated in the reservation confirmation and disclosed before confirmation.
Event reservations may carry their own notice periods and deposit terms, which are likewise disclosed before confirmation.
No-show policy.
If you cannot locate your chauffeur, contact Star Ride before leaving the pickup location. A reservation may be treated as a no-show if the client leaves without contacting the desk, fails to cancel after dispatch, or otherwise does not appear for the confirmed service. Any no-show charge is based on the terms stated in the reservation confirmation.
Payment.
Reservations are billed in U.S. dollars. The payment method — and any deposit required to confirm a reservation — is arranged individually with the desk and stated in the reservation confirmation.
The final amount is calculated after the journey is completed and may include confirmed services and incurred charges such as waiting time, additional stops, tolls and parking, as set out in the confirmation.
Personal information.
Information used to arrange and deliver services is handled as described in the Privacy Notice. The journey composer does not submit information to Star Ride; it opens a draft in the communication app selected by the user.
Website content and third parties.
Site text, graphics, logos and images are owned by or licensed to Star Ride Group Corporation and are protected by applicable copyright and trademark law. They may not be copied, modified, distributed or used without written permission.
Third-party links are provided for convenience. Star Ride does not control their content, availability or privacy practices.
Disclaimer and limitation of liability.
The site and its information are provided “as is” without express or implied warranties, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose or non-infringement, to the extent permitted by law.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Star Ride’s total liability for a claim relating to a service is limited to the amount paid for the reservation at issue. Star Ride is not liable for indirect, incidental, consequential or punitive damages, including missed flights or events, arising from traffic, weather, mechanical failure or other circumstances beyond its reasonable control.
Claims should be submitted to the desk in writing promptly after the service. Some jurisdictions do not allow certain warranty exclusions, damage exclusions or claim limitations; in those jurisdictions, these provisions apply only to the extent permitted by law.
Acceptable use.
You may not use the site for an unlawful purpose, interfere with its operation, attempt unauthorized access, or transmit unlawful, threatening, defamatory or obscene material.
General provisions.
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of New Jersey, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Subject to mandatory law, disputes are submitted to the state courts of Middlesex County, New Jersey.
If a provision is unenforceable, the remaining provisions continue in effect. These terms and the written reservation confirmation constitute the agreement concerning the site and confirmed service. Star Ride may update these terms by posting a revised version and effective date.
